Michele Markey

Chief Executive Officer

Michele has been at the helm of SkillPath since 2020, after joining as Vice President of Operations in 2018. With a graduate degree in Business from Webster University and extensive experience running her own successful training company, she was a natural fit. Michele’s dedication to providing top-quality training has been instrumental in driving SkillPath's strategic direction, guiding its growth and excellence in the industry. Previously a marathon runner, Michele now spends her free time with her exceptionally large family and her dog, Ziggy.

Katie Parrish

VP of Content

With a strong journalism and editorial background, Katie joined SkillPath to head up the thought leadership content team, creating a broad range of free educational resources for customers. In her current role, Katie directs the production of everything from instructor-led training, eLearning modules, videos, and lead-generation content with the aim of enriching experiences for all learners who engages with SkillPath. A strong advocate for animal rescue, Katie also enjoys record collecting, crafting and watching professional sports.

Sarah Dolezal

Director of Training Operations

Sarah oversees event fulfillment, with her team meticulously handling every detail, from booking virtual rooms to selecting the perfect trainer, ensuring attendees have the best possible SkillPath experience. Sarah’s career in both formal and informal training roles showcases her passion for helping others develop skills. She loves being part of a nonprofit focused on enhancing communication, teamwork, and leadership. A lifelong learner, Sarah immerses herself in articles, books, podcasts, audiobooks, and tutorials during her off time, continually expanding her knowledge and expertise.

Shelley Ferguson

VP of Human Resources

As an HR leader, Shelley finds it exciting to work at a company that creates products that align with her career function. Her mission is to shape a high-performing culture that aligns with SkillPath’s training and content offerings. With over two decades of expertise in both the private and nonprofit sectors, Shelley thrives on collaborating closely with leaders and implementing innovative solutions to engage employees and elevate business results. In her free time, Shelley enjoys walking her dog, shopping with her girls, and savoring great coffee, food and wine with her husband and friends.

Kenneth “Kenny” Baltzell

VP of Information & Technology

Kenny plays a vital role in SkillPath’s success, overseeing all technological aspects from conception to product launch and maintaining our infrastructure. His leadership has been pivotal in migrating our operations from on-premises solutions to cutting-edge, cloud-based platforms. A military veteran, Kenny honed his IT skills in the US Air Force. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys boating, fishing, and hunting in his leisure time.

Jennifer Barrington

VP of Marketing

Jennifer brings a brilliant blend of knowledge, creativity, and solid, data-driven decision-making skills to SkillPath's marketing team. She started her career in direct mail marketing, adeptly navigating through two acquisitions and steadily advancing to her current role as Vice President of Marketing. As a heavy Excel user, she appreciates the comprehensive selection of Microsoft Excel courses available for SkillPath customers. When she’s not crunching numbers, Jennifer enjoys baking, reading and spending time with her family.

Micah Rigler

AVP of Subscription Sales

Micah is passionate about inspiring others to love their work and excels at motivating sales growth. Drawn to SkillPath for the opportunity to provide products and services that profoundly impact the personal and professional lives of others, Micah brings a wealth of experience to her role. In addition to a rich background in Sales Management and Business Development, Micah’s career includes working with the US Embassies in Croatia and Serbia. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing salsa dancing and rumba with her husband and perfecting her pickleball skills.
